Description: | |
In this swap, we will be making little projects for our partners using sewing, embroidery, cross-stitch, patchwork, crochet, and/or knitting. If there's another kind of stitchery I've forgotten to mention, please let me know! π Take your time, de-stress, and bring something πhappyπ into this world. Make something entirely from scratch, or embellish something lovely. One project for one partner. This swap is open to stitchers of all experience levels, so be sure you're not expecting to receive professional quality work. The idea is to be inclusive and share a relaxing, meditative hobby with our friends. I'm hosting this as a local US swap because of various international postal restrictions and delays due to the global pandemic. I look forward to hosting international versions in the future, if there is interest. Please check your partner's profile for any allergies (e.g. wool) or dislikes before starting your project. You will have a full four weeks after partner assignment to make your little project. Be sure to package your creation carefully as you send it on its way home. Have fun! β₯ Ideas for itty bitty projects: β’ bookmark β’ coaster / mug rug β’ mini hoop art β’ badge / patch β’ brooch β’ friendship bracelet β’ lanyard β’ zipper pull β’ needle book β’ canvas pouch β’ amigurumi or other little plushies β’ share more ideas below! β₯ (image: mini moons by Aimee Ray) |
