Description:

The First Full Week of October is Mystery Series Week Let's talk about mystery series! :)

For now, this is an EMAIL swap. If anyone at all is interested in a snail mail version, please just ask and I'll set that up as well!

You probably all know that I LOVE mysteries! Let's send our partner(s) an EMAIL all about mystery series!

In an email to your partner(s), tell your partners which - if any - mystery series you follow, or have read and enjoyed. Do you prefer to read mysteries, or just once in a while? Are you a die-hard Sherlock Holmes fan, or do you prefer Agatha Christie? Or a more modern author?

How will you 'celebrate' Mystery Series Week? Here are some suggestions from the website: (Feel free to discuss any or all points below with your partner(s)). "HOW TO OBSERVE #MysterySeriesWeek Introduce a young reader to mystery series with A-Z Mysteries, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys.

Adult readers can sample classic authors such as Arthur Conan Doyle or Agatha Christie.

For the classic noir reader, try sampling a mystery series by Raymond Chandler, Mickey Spillane or Earl Stanley Gardner.

The modern mystery series fans should look up writers Patricia Cornwell, Janet Evanovich, James Patterson, or Lee Child.

Sign up at the largest book recommendation site Goodreads for other mystery series ideas.

On social media, use #mysteryseriesweek to follow the conversation.

Follow a book mystery series made for television such as Sherlock, Elementary, (Arthur Conan Doyle), Karen Sisco (Elmore James), Justified (Elmore Leonard), Rizzoli & Isles (Tess Gerritsen ), Longmire (Craig Johnson), ABC Mysteries (Agatha Christie)."

The first full week of October is 4th -10th. Sometime during that week, send your partner(s) an email talking about any or all of the above points. You can send the same email to all partners, but be sure to use the BCC function if you send the same email to all of your partners. Feel free to add graphics to your email if you wish, but just text is fine.

And again, if you would like to do a snail mail version of this swap, just let me know. :)

If you have any questions, please send me a PM and ask. I'll reply as soon as I can. :)
