Halloween in July

This is the first time I have used Swap-bot. How do we find out our partner? I see that the cards must be sent by July 17 but I don't know how to find out my partner's likes.

Hey LuAnnP! Welcome to Swap-Bot! If you look in the yellow rectangle next to the swap title on this page, you will see your options. Click on "See the partners you send to" another box will pop up showing your partner's user name, actual name and address. Click on their user name and you will be brought to your partner's profile page. There you will be able to read all about your partner. Once you are ready to mail your swap, come back to this page and go back to that same yellow rectangle and click on "Click here when you have sent your items". Another box will pop up asking you if you did in fact mail your swap and you will have to click yes. The swap will then be moved to your "sent" section tab under your Dashboard tab. Once you receive your swap from your partner, come back to this page and the yellow rectangle and then click on "Rate your partners and coordinator". Once that page comes up, you will see the options to rate your coordinator and partner. You must click on the "save ratings" underneath the partner rating section for the ratings to save. You can always come back to this page and to the yellow rectangle and click on "View particpants" to check on the status of when you sent your swap if you are worried about a rating taking too long or to see if your partner actually sent to you. You can always click on their name, be brought to their profile page and see the option to send your partner a message to ask if they did receive your swap or if you would like for them to answer any questions that you may have about what is indicated on their profile regarding likes/dislikes etc. Communication is key here on swap-bot! When in doubt, ask about! LOL, I just made that up! I hope all of that makes sense. Feel free to reach out to any of us if you need more clarification. Happy Swapping!

Doh! I just remembered another tip. It is always better to message your swap host personally rather than on the swap page as the host does not get notified of questions or comments that are left here on the page. So, if you would like more clarification from Cbragg23, click on the name above. You will see that it says (contact). You will be brought immediately to their profile page and then you can click on message next to their name to ask any questions that you may have about the swap. It is also good protocol to actually list the swap name as many hosts oftentimes host more than 1 swap at a time. This way, they will know which swap you are referring to.
