Description:

Welcome to the Library Lovers Unite! 2020 Snail Mail Reading Challenge Swap!

For this swap, you will read a book in the chosen genre for this month, then write a short review and send it to your partner via snail mail. Tell us a little about the book – no spoilers, please, the author, why you chose it, and whether it is from the library or your personal collection. You will have one partner.

Here is a list of the potential categories. Each month, the category will be chosen at random. You may get to read something you would not choose for yourself!

  1. Science Fiction
  2. Fantasy
  3. Historical Fiction (February)
  4. Contemporary Fiction (January)
  5. Romance (May)
  6. Short Stories
  7. A book written or set in the 1920s
  8. Poetry (April)
  9. Classics
  10. Graphic Novel (March)
  11. Mystery/Thriller
  12. A book set in a country not your own

The genre for April is: Romance

Please note: whether your book fits the category is totally up to you. We shall not judge one another. You also are not obligated to participate the entire year – challenge yourself as you choose. Let’s have fun with it! Honestly, I used random.org to choose.

Due to Coronavirus and many places internationally not being able to post letters and such, we are going to make this swap Regional - US only. When conditions change, we will, too.
