I saw a really neat video last night... for a different type of "mail art", and/or junk journal addition. I thought that maybe we could switch it up and do something Non-ATC for a change... therefore, we will be using this for our swap this time. TIP: I found out that you should use a napkin that is NOT directional. The first one I made was the Flamingo one. It came out upside down, which is why there are 4 sides of washi ;-) For this swap, we will follow this tuturial (HERE)- by Pam, at The Paper Outpost -- We will create 2 pouches making the base from billing envies and napkins, for our partner. Use washi on the sides, as indicated in the video. Any size envie is fine, but remember, this is to help us use up all those envies we get our bills in. Inside decoration should be from a book page or other decorative paper (scrapbook paper, paper pad, etc). Put at least one (1) embellishment on each one. Please no sticker slapping, let this be a fun and new creative project. Send on time, rate when you get it., keep in touch with your partner if you aren't sending on time. Recap: 1 Partner 2 pouches using billing envelopes Base cover using napkins Washi on sides Inside decoration from decorative paper or book page (I could not find a book large enough for these envelopes). 1 embellishment or more on each pouch I haven't made any yet, as I just found the video at 11pm last night... I am going to try to make one today, will post pic above when I get it done (see above pic - posted 1/28/20) Go forth and be creative! :-) Posted 1/26/20 |
