Do you enjoy writing stories?

If you do, have fun being a co-writer to a never-ending story by writing only 3 sentences each time and when you are done, send it to your swap partner for their turn to write their 3 sentences in continuation to the story. Write your turn then send it off when #6 starts in 3 weeks time. Each # will start every 3 weeks. This is an ongoing travelling series of 3 Lines Story with many co-writers to the story eventually. It will be fun to see how the story unfolds and even more interesting if you receive what you started after it is being continued by a few other writers :) Game to try this? Read on to the Rules:

Take a piece of at least around A5 sized paper (the bigger the better) and pen your first 3 sentences. You can also be creative and fold an A4 sized paper like what I’ve done as seen in the photo above into a booklet.

Write another different story using the same method mentioned in 1. Each mail will have 2 stories enclosed.

Sign off your SwapBot user name at the bottom of the paper or the last page of the mini booklet.

You will have to write 4 different stories for each series as you will have 2 recipients to send to each time. Each recipient will receive 2 stories.

It can be a brand new story if you are new to the series. It is definitely more fun doing a continuation if you have been writing in this swap previously.

It is perfectly fine and more fun to send off the 2 stories in continuation started off by different writers in 1 mail :)

I am signing up in the hope that I will receive the stories from round #4 before the send deadline. They are coming from India and Brazil so that should happen. I really don't want to start any more letters, if I can help it, but I will if I have to.

Partners: Please, be aware that I will be away on a vacation trip from the 8th through the 17th so, If I can't get them out before the 8th, it will be the 18th or after before I will be able to mail. They won't be late, but I likely won't be able to get them out early either.

My house sitter sends me photos of the fronts and backs of postcards that I receive while away, but I do not ask her to open envelopes... Though, it could be fun to let her add to the stories...

Thanks for letting us know here. If you happen to receive the stories from #5 before the #4 ones arrive, you can send them too for #5 since there are new joiners anyway that would join with each series.

I forgot to put as “sent”, but i did put them on friday. Sorry for the misleading. It was a really crazy week with full days of slime/minecraft/2D games workshop for 20 kids, on mornings and evenings...

@NRGordon your letter should be arriving soon. Hope you get earlier than late!
