Description:

I LOVE vintage greeting cards, and I have a box of them with some doubles, and a few I know I won't use, so I thought you might too.

You will have one partner to whom you will send 5 cards. That's pretty easy.

These cards can be "used" but must be in very good condition. I think they should be at least no newer than the 80's. It is hard to tell exactly how old a greeting card is, but I think most of us can at least tell if they are 20 years old. Envelopes are not required, as often old cards we find do not have them, and most of us have a larger collection of envelopes than we do of cards, and many of them will not be mailed, but will become part of someone's art project.

These should be good quality cards, with either GREAT graphics or a really cool vintage saying, or both. Send something you are proud to send, and that you would be happy to receive. If you send little tiny note cards, send 2 for 1, unless they are spectacular.

Newbies are welcome, with a complete profile. Please no recent no-sends, unless you contact me and explain it. 4.5 or higher, again contact me if you are lower but there is a good explanation.

This is an international swap, as it should not cost too much to send 5 average size cards, especially if you don't have to send the envelopes.

It's kind of hard to tell what your partner will have, but if you have any special requests, you can put them in the comments. Please don't count on them, and your partner deserves a 5 if they send 5 cards in decent condition. Hearts for anything extra.

Remember these cards are VINTAGE, which means they are OLD. They may have some yellowing, age spots, or other discoloration, they may have a few creases. That is part of their charm.

I am giving 7 days for this swap. It shouldn't be hard to put together 5 old cards and mail them in a week.

REMEMBER this is an international swap, which means don't freak out if your cards don't arrive in the 1st week, sometimes international mail takes awhile.

If there is enough interest I will do a USA/Canada regional swap also.

I will Angel this if anyone flakes.

Email me with questions. Franstuff

This is the first swap I have coordinated, so I hope it all goes well! It is one I like, so I hope you will like it too! Please let me know if I have left something off, or done something incorrectly. Fran

What about tape marks on the insides of the cards? Some of mine have been in an old scrapbook.

That's ok. They are vintage after all! I think it's the front that counts!
