Description:

Welcome to our first of many seed swaps online. You will have 1 partner whom you can send 3 packet of seeds (senders choice). If you want to be extra nice you can add as many types of seeds.

Seed packets do not need a certain amount of seeds. They can be store bought or hand collected from summer. All seeds MUST be labelled and considered non-invasive. You can look at your partners profile and see if they have a list of seeds they are looking for.

Send your packets in a well padded envelope. This can be a bubble wrap package, heavy duty napkin wrapped around the seeds, or even gift card boxes which you can find at the dollar store. This will prevent the seeds from being crushed. Shouldn't cost more then $3 to send using parcel mail via USPS.

Suggested types of seeds:

  • Vegetables
  • Flowers
  • Herbs
  • Medicinal in nature

RULES:

  • ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU ARE GOING TO PARTICIPATE.
  • Label all seed packets
  • Include sowing/germinate instructions for seeds
  • NO INVASIVE SPECIES
  • Disease and Pest Free seeds
  • No toxic varieties
  • Must send 3 seed packets (senders choice)
  • No limit on how many seed packets sender can send
  • Send your swaps on time. If you have something come up email your partner and explain whats going on and when you will send your package. There is never a good reason to send something late.
  • Must live in the USA

NO UNRATED Newbies, recent ratings of 3 or lower in the past 6 months with no explanation will not be allowed to join this swap.

FYI...
st john's wort is considered a noxious weed and is illegal to plant in some areas.
Calendula is regulated in California and listed as a category A weed.
There are a lot of regulations for growing the "witchy" plants. Most are considered invasive. It is a good idea to check before sending.
