This is a swap for all of your unwanted stickers! Send your partner at least 30 individual stickers that are different. These can be sticker flakes, cut up sticker sheets, or random stickers. Please do not send something you would not like to receive. This swap is for stickers that are not your style. No teacher/reward/kiddie stickers. Newbie friendly <3

Edit: please make sure that most stickers are around the size of a large coin. If you have super small stickers you want to get rid of, consider sending a few extra. Be generous! Make sure most stickers are of decent size :) hopefully this helps

Please include a note with the swap information so you can be rated by your partner!

Does the size matter? If we have 30 stickers in total, does the size matter?

annabelleshannon 12/ 5/2019 #

Chupe I would not send all super small stickers. If some are small, thatโ€™s okay :). But most stickers could be around a quarter size

chupe 12/ 6/2019 #

Alright! That's what I was thinking, thanks!

Vintagecraft 12/ 6/2019 #

But I am sure some people will only send small tiny stickers. It will be nice to be more specific so everyone gets a fair swap

kittyhahahotbot 12/ 7/2019 #

Vintagecraft thats true. Because this is newbie friendly which means you could end up with 30 flake stickers! Generally, what works is to say "3 flakes=1 sticker. Or its easier to just say no flakes too."

Vintagecraft 12/ 7/2019 #

I am out. I like when it is more specific. I had my fair share of rubbishy swap bot

annabelleshannon 12/ 7/2019 #

All of my sticker flakes are roughly around a quarter size- I do not have a lot of super small stickers. Iโ€™m not sure how to be more specific? Is there a different word for stickers that come in the boxes that are around or bigger than a quarter?

kittyhahahotbot 12/ 7/2019 #

The typical definition of a flake are the teeny tiny ones. If its a quarter size its not a flake.

When dealing with newbies its crucial to be super specific and sure.

To avoid problems in the future just exclude flakes altogether.:)))

Do we leave a note saying hi I'm from Swap-Bot here are your stickers or do we just fill up an envelope full of stickers and send it off?

annabelleshannon 12/12/2019 #

AdeleAmy I forgot to add that thank you

chupe 12/12/2019 #

me again with more questions, lol..... example i send a sheet of sticker with 5 stickers on it does that count as 5 or as 1 sticker?

annabelleshannon 12/13/2019 #

Chupe in my opinion that counts as five

MissBrenda 12/13/2019 #

@AdeleAmy please excuse my intrusion, but I will answer your question. Anytime you send off a swap, ALWAYS include the name of the swap AND your Swap-bot moniker. That way your partner knows what swap it is and who to rate and doesn't have to guess. This is standard for all swaps. Make sense?

SeleneW 12/13/2019 #

Sticker collector here. All stickers that come completely cut out from the sheet are called flakes. These sticker flakes can be very small to the size of a dime to the size of a half dollar, range from cute to vintage, kiddy to sophisticated and typically are not bought from the dollar store. These stickers come this way and are typically packaged in either matching coordinating small box or small bag.

Sticker flakes do not include stickers that came from a sheet that are then cut out by the purchaser. Those are left over stickers and should not be sent as flakes.

SeleneW 12/13/2019 #

@annabelleshannon Reading your swap, I do understand which types of stickers you are allowing. Knowing this I would personally understand that I might receive cheaper stickers than I send out. This does not bother me because I love the spirit of swapping which is sharing happy mail. I look forward to your swap. :)

PrettyAlice 12/19/2019 #

This swap sounds fun but you might want to add something about not sending teacher/reward stickers and maybe not child stickers. The last sticker swap I was in didnโ€™t mean ruin these things so my partner sent me mostly reward stickers and a few little kid ones. Seeing as Iโ€™m not a teacher I donโ€™t have a use for those.

annabelleshannon 12/19/2019 #

@PrettyAlice I added that thank you :)

ovenbernt 12/20/2019 #

yeah, I would still include flakes in this swap! Personally, they are my preferred form of sticker. All it means is that they do not come on a sheet, but separate pieces. There is no size "limit", they aren't usually super tiny. The "size of a coin" thing is good advice. Thanks for the swap I can't wait!

This one looks good

snailmailbella 12/29/2019 #

Would out of season stickers be alright?

annabelleshannon 12/29/2019 #

@snailmailbella I would leave that up to your discretion but I wouldnโ€™t send all seasonal stickers

slaidlow 01/ 1/2020 #

I just signed up for this. Will we get the address of the person we send this to? I'm a newbie.๐Ÿ˜Š

Mailingmamma 01/ 1/2020 #

I have a decent collection of all types of stickers and can send a variety. I love all things galaxy, unicorn, mermaid or kawaii

Atomictea 01/ 2/2020 #

Can we send multiples of the same sticker sheet ?

annabelleshannon 01/ 2/2020 #

@atomictea if you do, I would send extra. The idea is to get 30 different stickers

Mailingmamma 01/ 5/2020 #

@annabellshannon I am ready to send do I need to include a picture of the envelope...this is my first swap

annabelleshannon 01/ 6/2020 #

@mailingmamma you donโ€™t need a picture of the envelop

Mailingmamma 01/24/2020 #

@annabelleshannon I have not received this swap...how long do I wait?

KristinaGisela 01/25/2020 #

@mailingmamma Mine just arrived yesterday - all the way from Brazil! If the sender mailed it on the mail by date of Jan. 10th, international mail can take 1-4 weeks to arrive in the US depending on where itโ€™s coming from.

annabelleshannon 01/27/2020 #

@mailingmama did you receive your swap?

AdeleAmy 02/20/2020 #

I just realised that I never got anything back.
