Description:

This will be a type 3 swap because it will take a little longer to write out and think about. But should be lightweight to mail, so hopefully not too much in postage. This swap is International, and you will have 1 partner.

It's that time of the year, time to reflect on the past 12 months. I'm purposely setting this with sign up/send by in January, though, so you can take a little more time getting your thoughts together. You can, of course, start working on it ahead of time, as it's not specific to your partner.

I've been using a Passion Planner for a few years now, and the end of each month, then the year, has a reflection section. While I admit that I'm not great at taking advantage of these features, I think they are great, and a good tool. And I thought maybe making it a swap would encourage me to actually do it this time. :) And hopefully help all of you who sign up. :)

In a hand written or typed letter to your partner - page size and style, decoration up to you, it's the words that count here - answer the following questions: (You can be as detailed or vague as you wish. You don't have to go into detail for your partner if you are not comfortable with it.)

From 1-10, 1 being the worst, 10 being the best, how do you feel overall about this past year?

What advice would you give yourself at the beginning of this past year?

What were the three biggest lessons you learned this past year? What is one way to incorporate these lessons into your life?

Review your past year (use your planner or journal if you have one), and look at your priorities. Are you happy with how you spent your time? If not, how can you use this reflection for the coming year?

How different was 2019 from 2018?

Who or what are you especially grateful for over this past year?

What are 3 things you can improve on for the coming year? Can you think of any concrete actions you can take to make 2020 better than 2019?

What was the most memorable part of this past year? Describe it, if you wish.

Do you have any goals for 2020? What are they? How do you plan to achieve those goals?

Answer the above questions for your partner, try to be detailed and not just answer in a few words. This is a writing group and a writing swap.

If you have any questions, please send me a PM. If I haven't explained something well, please ask and I'll work to clarify and maybe edit the swap for clarity.

If you are watching, please leave a comment below. This will help me to see who is interested in the different swaps. Thanks! :)
