Surprise Antiqued Envelope Swap

Greetings Ladies,

Last night as we walked past Ackley Wood, I was thinking of an
envelope full of pretty things that might wish to belong to
one of you creatives. In it were delightful items that might go in
your journals. And it gave me an idea that we might create our
own.
What do you say?

In this swap, we will create with cardstock, the shape of an open envelope, (optional front flap), cover the front(s) in a book page. Give it an old antique look, so you can mess up the newness by aging using a coffee or teabag stain to it. This can be glued into your partners journal.

To thrill your partner, have it filled with at least 3 lovely paper items. Ideas might be sheet music, a postcard sketch or old image from a museum book or copied from the net, perhaps a gelli printed doily, page marker or tag or even an ATC if you are inclined to be adventurous. Let the items be quite special, to enhance your partners pages.
The image above, has an envelope with an added flap - this is up to the maker, but that is not essential to our participants.

Add a short note to explain your choices, perhaps from your chosen character if you have one, and check out your partners profile (in case they prefer other items than pretty) ...

Finally if you are not feeling artistic, it is quite acceptable to choose attractive paper items from your area shops.
