Description:

I have been doing these color fat 1/4 swaps monthly and really love them. There are several regular swappers and we are always open for new ones to join in the fun, too. Since I love to sew, I thought why not make it a quilter's fat quarter color swap theme. I see a lot of swaps for yarn out there and also just for colors, but none for those cute little fat quarters we all see at the material shops. You can use them to make quilts, hats, purses, doll clothes, or anything that takes about 1/4 yd of material. Approx: 18" x 22"

We are on swap #19 in the new year 2009 and it will be for "Valentine's Day" colors, anything that makes you think of hearts. It can be just plain "hearts", or pink and white, cupids, any themed print or plain pink for the month of February this time, since it is "Valentine's Day" month. I thought it would be appropriate as a theme and you can choose any "Valentine's" print theme or plain pink colors. These swaps are fun and I love doing them.

This swap will be all about "Valentine's Day" colors and prints. That means any material as long as it has a "Valentine's Day" theme or pink colors are in your fat 1/4.

This is an open swap to overseas and USA.

You will have one partner to send to.

Send:

  1. 4 fat quarters in "Valentine's Day" theme or pink colors
  2. "Pink" colored thread
  3. "Valentine's Day" themed or plain pink hearts colored note cards/ journal/ stationery
  4. "Valentine's Day" themed or plain pink colored surprise gift

Make your package go together....

The fat 1/4 can be solid, prints, dots, stripes, or any pattern as long as they include pink colors or the "Valentine's Day" theme or hearts.

You should send a package that keeps true to the "Valentine's Day" prints or pink colored theme as much as possible and is worth at least $15-$20 (pre-postage). If you wish to substitute other items for #2 and #3 that is ok as long as it is something to do with sewing and the package theme color or colors.

Please note that I have added a Flickr page to post your photos and Thank-you for all your packages received. See the site address above.

Look at your partners profile and include extra items such as notions, buttons, stitckers, needles, pins,a pattern, bias trim, ribbon, lace,or any other item you think in prints that would be nice to receive. This can be an inexpensive mailing package. That is why it will be fun.

Please have a rating of 4.75 and zero no sends. Newbies are welcome; please have a well filled out profile and email me BEFORE you join. Otherwise I will delete you from the swap!!

Lastly, please rate your partner accordingly. When you receive your swap, rating them is a great way to let them know you received it.

If you have not received your swap in a timely manner, please email me and I will try to assist you in conacting your partner.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this swap.

Happy Swapping!
