Description:

The lovely Taylor Jordan states in her great Maple Post site that *Mail Tag is a game played between penpals where you send a list of tasks to be completed or questions that will be answered in the next letter. The best part of the game is that you can get closer to your friends and this is what we're looking for in this swap!

The Question Tags help you get to know your penpal better and gather important information and the Tasks or Challenge Tags are more tricky and usually with more specific targets but always fun! There is a lot more about it and you can expand the idea in her post What is Mail Tag? so you can understand this swap!

This swap is made of 2 parts (one gets fully rated and the other part gets fully credited from the group's community and me :-). So make sure to join, only if you're willing to play properly and honor the commitment.

FIRST PART:

  • You will have 2 partners
  • You will send your Mail Tag Questions and your Mail Tag Tasks in a pretty way
  • You will write 6 Mail Tag Questions (any type but don't be rude or non-respectful, remember we all have different levels of understanding)
  • You will write 6 Mail Tag Tasks (don't set complicated tasks that get impossible to be completed)
  • You will add a profile theme flat surprise

SECOND PART:

  • Once you receive your questions & tasks from your partners, you rate your senders in a timmely manner as we all should do with our received swaps
  • Answer your questions in a pretty way and complete your tasks, keeping proof of each one
  • Write your senders, asking for their shipping address
  • Send your work answers and completed tasks' proof to your senders and include a reminder to them, asking to come back to the swap's thread to post confirming you did your part!
  • Have fun and even engage in more conversation, this is the nicest part, that you get to know better your pals!
  • My job here will also be, to check that all the participants completed their 2 parts of this swap. Those who fail to make the second part of the swap will be removed from the group!

Example of questions & tasks ( Taken from Taylor's post but you can pick yours!):

Questions

How do you spend most of your weekends?
What is a traditional meal in your home?
An historical event you wish you had witnessed?
What is your favorite memory?
What are your reading right now?

Tasks:

Watch this movie
Go for a walk and tell me about what you see
Find and send…(something mail friendly)
Send the front page of a local newspaper
Send a piece of your favourite washi

Notes
- This is a group swap but I still reserve the right to ban you if I believe is in the best interest of the participants
- I angel all my swaps

Please feel free to question, suggest or comment. I'll make changes if needed!
