Swap number 4 of this series

If you have a book from the previous swap, fill out a page and send it to your partner. For new participants read below.

To start, find an exercise book. You know the type you write in at school.

The first person starting the book will decorate the cover however they choose, wallpaper, wrapping paper, anything you like.

Inside the front cover write your name, address (so the book is returned when it is full) swap name and your swap-bot name.

On a page or 2 write abit about your day, you location, something about the weather. You may decorate the page if you wish. Add a photo, a drawing if you wish and tape in with washi or staple. Use only pens that do not bleed onto the next page please. Don't forget to date your entry. You may add something separate for your partner if you wish, a pen pal intro letter or something else related to their likes, but you don't have to. Also write your swapbot id so you can be rated

When you are done with your page send the book onto your partner.

That partner will then wait for the next swap in this series and fill out their page(s) and send on to their partner and so on.

Once the book is full the last person to write in the book will send it to the owner of the book, and start a new book.

The whole process then starts again.

At the end when your book is returned to you, you will have a book full of stories from around the world.

When I say exercise book I mean like a small a5 ish notebook with about 30 pages inside. I know some of you have been asking in the previous swaps about what book to use. Something like the notebook inserts you get for the travellers notebook is perfectly fine 😊.

Some have asked before if they can make a book. Yes you can if you want to. But make sure it is fairly thin, max 50 pages to write on and no bigger than A5 size. Think about the weight of the book and the cost of sending it around the world. Be creative

Please allow plenty of time to receive and send the book. This swap will take commitment to subsequent swaps in this series. If you don't plan on continuing with later swaps please don't join. I'm sorry but this is supposed to be fun. I enjoy hearing from different people around the world 😊 as I'm sure many others do too.

I plan to do one of these every month so there should be plenty of time to send and receive. Hopefully none of these books get lost on their journey.

Newbies are welcome to join this swap with a filled out profile (we all had to start somewhere)

Any questions please message me.

Is a 5x7 inch book ok? And when you say 30 pages- does one sheet of paper count as one page front and back or is that two pages?

A5 = 14,8 x 21,0 cm = 5,83" x 8,27"

so I guess 5x7 will be good.

I would also want to know does 30-50 pages mean 15-25 sheets (two-sided)?

I received a PM from @LauRad83 in which she wrote that it is about "15 double sided". This means, 15 sheets of paper = 30 pages.

I haven't received any journals since part 3 of this series. I hope to receive a journal soon. So I'll be sending late. I have already informed my swap partner 2 days ago.

I have the same partner you did for the #3 and she hasn't sent out a journal this time either(atleast not as of yet) @vacths95
