Description: | |
For this swap you'll be creating a masterboard using the techniques described by thefrugalcrafter in the tutorial found HERE You'll begin with a piece of sturdy paper (watercolor, mixed media) that measures 9"x12". 'Art up' your page using the techniques described using stamps/stencils/tissue you have on hand. You'll cut the 9"x12" sheet in half horizontally and end up with 2 6"x9" pieces. You'll have 2 partners and you'll send 1 piece each to your 2 partners and get 2 different boards in return. Lindsay is using watercolor crayons. I think you can use any watercolorish thing you have--neocolors, scribble sticks, gelatos, actual watercolors--to achieve the same effect. She mentions using the Lyra brand. I checked on amazon--they're over $25 for 24 crayons--too expensive for me! Join up and have lots of creative fun! |
