Description:

FIRST PART OF THE SWAP

You’ll write your partner a letter that contains at least these things:

  • When’s your birthday?
  • Where’s your birthplace?
  • Do you still live in or near your birthplace?
  • something about the place you live
  • Do you work? If so, what do you work?
  • something about your family
  • What are your hobbies?
  • Do you have a pet? Did you ever have a pet?
  • What are your favorite swaps on Swap-Bot?
  • Do you celebrate Christmas? How did you spent Christmas?
  • How did you spent New Year’s Eve?
  • Do you have New Year’s resolutions? What are your plans for 2019?

The order is up to you, but please don’t only write one sentence per bullet. Of course you can also write about other things, too. Maybe you’ll watch at your partners profile to see if you have anything in common.

If you have further suggestions for topics, please add them in the comments. It’s some inspiration for your partners and maybe I’ll add some more bullets to the next version of this swap.

The letter can be typed or handwritten.

Please use some nice letter paper or in case you don’t have letter paper and you use plain paper, decorate your paper (stickers, washi tape, drawing, …, it’s up to you).

SECOND PART OF THE SWAP

You’ll make an envelope to send your letter. Size is up to you (keep the postage in mind!). Paper is up to you as long as it’s sturdy enough and not plain-colored. You can also decorate your envelope (stickers, washi tape, drawings, …, it’s up to you).

THIRD PART OF THE SWAP

Send your letter in your self-made envelope on time.

FOURTH PART OF THE SWAP

Please rate your partner as soon as you get your swap.

FIFTH PART OF THE SWAP (OPTIONAL)

If you want you can write your partner a letter back, but it’s no need to.
