Description:

Hi everyone!

For this swap we will be creating an altered library card pocket that will be decorated and embellished with a Valentine's Day theme. You can decorate the library card pocket with stamps, drawings, hand lettering, ephemera, tickets, etc. anything you like as long as it’s a Valentine's Day theme. 'Galentine' and 'Palentine' plays on the Valentine's Day theme are fine, also! Embellished and altered library card pockets are sometimes used in junk journals. Make something that your partner would be proud to use in their junk journal!

Example of an altered library card pocket can be viewed here on YouTube:

If you receive an embellished library card pocket with a Valentines theme, your rating should be a five, with hearts discretionary. Extras are not required for this swap, but send them if you like

At the bottom it says β€œif you recieve a Christmas theme” maybe a typo ??? :)

Ah, whoops! Yep, I will fix it!

Where are these library cards and pockets found?

JennLostAndFound 01/17/2019 #

@TiffanySmart I have seen them at Tuesday morning in the craft section and I have some that were a part of the Magnolia Hearth and Hand collection. If you don't have any, you can make your own, also. The youtube links in the swap description will show you how to make the card and pocket out of any pattern paper!
