This is a neat idea, but I think too high dollar for me right now. I will see if I can find any good sales before I sign up

hi, is it possible to send italian language illustrated tales book? being italian, it would be hard for me to find english books,,,

Hi, I would enjoy receiving picture books in languages other than English. It would be best if there are enough illustrations to pretty much tell the story even if the reader doesn't know the language. Good paperback copies are less expensive to buy and ship. I find books at amazing prices at thrift shops often in mint condition undistinguishable from new copies. Books are my business. Working in an elementary school library and having worked at Barnes & Noble Booksellers I do know quality. I even buy books at GoodWill and the Salvation Army to donate to my collection at school. Today books were half-price at our local Salvation Army shop. Sometimes there isn't much to choose from and at other times I literally find bagfulls--which is bad for my wallet because I can't resist. 95 cents for a $15-$19 hardcover picturebook by internationally known children's authors and illustrators in perfect condition--who could resist?

I can hardly wait to get assigned. I can't believe I picked up a beautiful book illastated by Joan Walsh Anglund...I also got one with an artist....Tomie de Paula? I don't know artists well, but I love the old nursery rhyme books. I have a personal collection. The best part...these books only cost 50 cents each and are in great condition...I love thrift store shopping and it's treasures. These are older books by the way...but in good shape..

For our international friends out there.. I would love to recieve a children's book in another language. I have some old ones from my childhood in Swedish...even though I am American. I have family in the Nederlands too..This is really a very small world...

You can send books in other languages but only if your partner is ok with that.

And you can send second hand books or books you have at home as far as they are in good conditions
