Description:

SUNSHINE ON A RAINY DAY LUCKY PARCEL SWAP

A Lucky Parcel is a smallish, but very nice n' sweet parcel of small and cute goodies from one partner to another, usually with a theme. Examples of lucky parcels can be found HERE.

This parcel's theme is "Sunshine on a Rainy Day" since April is coming, thus April showers will be among us!

Basically for this lucky parcel we will include items to help bring "sunshine" aka happiness to someone's "rainy" aka blue/sad day.

The container, which can be just about anything really, should have the swap items packaged sweetly inside. Small containers like a gift bag, other decorative bag, basket, tin, tote, decorative box, a cute Chinese takeout container from the party store, etc. Just make sure it is cute and decorative to make your partner smile!

(I know there are a lot of Spring containers at dollar stores and big box stores right now that could be used to fulfill this part of the swap, just refrain from using something that has Easter theme like eggs, bunnies, etc on it.)

You must include 4 to 5 items (or more) in the container you choose. Anything that will bring a little happiness into your partner's life and turn their rainy day into rays of Spring sunshine! Think cute, happy items, beautiful colors, anything to brighten someone's day, etc.

Examples of what you could include:

  • Small candle (votive or larger)
  • Small nicely handmade item
  • Brooch
  • Set of enamel pins
  • Cute set of buttons
  • Tea/coffee/drink packets (manufacturer sealed, at least 3 count as 1 item)
  • Keychain
  • Stationary (must be a set or a pack not just a single notecard or similar)
  • Washi (at least 1 roll not samples)
  • Lipbalm or gloss
  • Small beauty item
  • Rubber or acrylic stamp
  • Charms (set of charms or similar)
  • Tiny figure
  • Tiny sign or banner
  • Small journal/notebook
  • Pens, pencils, markers (at least 3 count as 1 item)
  • Other cute surprises to make them smile!

NO FOOD items, but drinks are allowed as 1 of the items. Items not limited to what is listed above as examples. Be sure to include a variety and package it very nicely. You want to make this parcel shine throughout and make your partner grin with happiness!

Rules and Requirements:

  • Meets group requirements, no recent 3s and no 1s.
  • Not late on any current swaps.
  • Must have signed in at least 24hrs before partners are assigned.
  • Include 4 to 5 items or more.
  • Sender's choice.
  • Items must be packaged sweetly inside a cute container of some sort.
  • Please send on time and have fun!!

(Note: I know that above I mention items need to be "full-sized" or "sets" but beyond the 4 to 5 required items you are more than welcome to include a few small single items as extras if you wish to!)

Thanks to everyone for joining my group! If any of you have ideas and/or would like to become a group officer to create swaps please PM me!

In this swap we have 1 partner, but there will be smaller swaps in the future with multiple partners!

(Note: Sorry if the description is so long. Please let me know if anything is confusing at all!)
