Recently, my BFF told me how she sends die cuts with her cards in case her partner would like to make one too. This gave me an idea to make a kit of some sort. This will be the first of a series (stay tuned for more ideas) to make swap kits. The theme of this kit is Spring! YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A CARD, just send the makings of one. (If you'd like to, though, that would be fine.) Send anything that is spring related such as flowers, butterflies, trees, ladybugs or something profile related that would fit into the theme. Ideas to send are: Card, 4x5 or larger, Envelope, Ribbon, String, Embellishments, Washi tape, Buttons, Cut out flowers, Butterflies, 6x6 papers, Die cuts - send a few in case of boo-boos, Stamped item that can be watercolored or colored with pencils, anything else you envision on the card. Here's a suggestion I thought would be fun. When you are done, mail it to your partner so they can see what you created. Be sure on your swap that your mailing address is readable. Write a note telling your partner what your plans are for this spring such as travel, gardening, spring cleaning. I always enjoy it when people take a moment to write a note of some sort. This is my first time hosting a swap and I hope itΓ’β¬β’s something people would like to do. I will look over your profile to see if you meet the requirements. No number 1 ratings unless you have an explanation. Because of postage, this is USA only. Be generous with your kit as we all know that ugh when you mess up. I am excited to see what we all come up with. Cheers, Lauri |
