Description:

I am restarting this swap as whowilllove me had to delete it. It's exactly the same swap.

This is the promised journal swap then! With thanks to @ClareyFairy and @m4riella for ideas.

You can make, alter, or buy a journal. Whichever.

This is going to be like @ClareyFairy 's theme-a-day journals, in which you have set themes. There are 20 for this one. You may include anything else in your journal aswell, but these 20 are swap requirements. Thanks. You can do them in any order.

1) Introduce yourself and your illnesses. Explain a little about your illnesses and how it affects you, with more emphasis on how it affects you, as I imagine that most of us know the medical side of a lot of mental health conditions.

2) If you could take a miracle cure, would you take it? Why or why not?

3) Write an entry about some of your feelings and thoughts. Try to find some positives for them aswell as negatives.

4) Where do you currently feel you are with your illnesses? Both literally and metaphorically.

5) List 10 secrets, thoughts you always have, things you hate about yourself...

6) List some lies you've told or things you've done to hide your illnesses. If you can't remember ever hiding it, explain why you didn't.

7) Things you've lost because of your illnesses. Also think of things you've gained.

8) What have you learned about yourself through suffering with your conditions?

9) What are some of your worst and best memories? Anything - not just health.

10) What are some things you are addicted to/ dependant on... etc? Why do you need them? Why is it so hard to give up?

11) Is there people, or groups that are key roles in your recovery? They can even be deceased or a celebrity. If they inspire you to keep going - write them down. You could expand on the most important figures, or just write a list. Up to you.

12) Write a letter saying goodbye to your conditions.

13) You have one chance to put a message in a bottle. What do you write? And why? Who do you hope will receive it? What do you want them to do with your message? How do you want them to react? How DO they react?

14) Write letters to : your future self; your past self; two of the "good" people in your life; and two of the "bad" people in your life.

15) Interview yourself for a mental health magazine. 20 Questions and answers.

16) Create a fictional world and character, based on your battle with your illnesses.

17) Make a timeline of your illnesses/meds/personal problems.

18) Write a radio drama about you and the thoughts in your head, or the voices of your illnesses.

19) What do you see when you look in the mirror? Both literally and metaphorically.

20) Write journal entries inspired by each of these words : blackness, tears, food, illness, trash, support, voices, rainbow, journal, me/I, and evil.

THIS IS NOT MEANT TO UPSET ANYONE. I'VE ALREADY SEEN LOTS OF THINGS HERE THAT WILL BE HURTFUL FOR ME TO DO, BUT I WANT TO DO THEM TO GET THINGS OUT. I THINK IT'LL BE GOOD FOR ME. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO TRIGGER ANYONE THOUGH, AND I DON'T WANT TO MAKE ANYONE ILLER.

NO NO SENDS IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS, SORRY.

YOU ARE AGREEING TO KEEP EVERYTHING IN YOUR PARTNER'S JOURNAL BETWEEN YOU AND THAT PERSON, BY SIGNING UP TO THIS SWAP.

YOU ALSO AGREE TO TREAT YOUR PARTNER'S JOURNAL ENTRIES AND THE INFORMATION THAT THEY DISCLOSE TO YOU WITH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF RESPECT.

INTERNATIONAL.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR HEALTH AND ARE GOING TO BE LATE PLEASE PM YOUR PARTNER AND ME.

Thanks!

My pleasure!

I think this swap is a brilliant idea, but I don't think I can join at the moment. I think I may use those questions to build myself a journal, to help me understand myself a bit better! Thank you!
