Description: | |
This is an email or blog post swap. You’ll share 2 pictures with both of your partners. The first photo will be at least 3 years old (the older, the better). The second picture will be no more than a year old, or at least 3 years older than the first. The trick is that both pictures should be of the same people or the same place. They don’t have to be exactly the same, but should share something significant. Include a paragraph about the photos, when they were taken, and what they have in common. For example — when I got married, I wore my mom’s wedding gown. I could share one picture of my mom and dad at their wedding in 1954, and one of my dad and me at my wedding in 1985. Same man (my dad) and same gown, 29 years later, or “That was then, This is now.†Or, I could share pictures of my kids on their first day of school. One from when they were in grade school, and one from high school. Same kids, 10 years apart. Last example - I could share a photo of Main Street from 1965, and a similar shot of Main Street today. Maybe Sears is still there, but the other shops have changed. Get the idea? The idea is to have fun and share something fun! Sign ups go through November 4th, and swaps should be sent by November 15th. Open to all with no unresolved 1’sor 3’s, and a minimum rating of 4.9. I reserve the right to make exceptions and will angel any swaps not received. Newbies welcome with completed profiles (I should have to scroll down to read all your info). Prompt rating is expected and appreciated...please rate a 5 if the pictures fulfill the requirements. Do not rate down if you don’t like the photos! Photos are sender’s choice. Any questions, just ask! |
