Hello Everyone! This is my first time hosting a swap for our group and I am honored to be doing this! Below are the details for a swap I hosted almost a year ago in another group. If there's an interest I will continue to host this swap monthly. Start with a note card, used or new. It can be blank inside or have a greeting. Tape 2 sides of the card closed. These 2 sides, along with the natural fold, will leave one side open. It will either be the top or the bottom depending on the card orientation). This creates the pocket. Into the pocket put some papery items from your stash (stickers, pretty papers, postage stamps, recipes, punch-outs or die-cuts, decorative tape samples, stamped images for them to color, a note card, post-its, etc.). Itรขโฌโขs always nice to check your partnerรขโฌโขs profile to see what you have that they might enjoy. Also add a little happy note telling about your day - please add more than "here is the swap." You can write in the card or on a separate piece of paper. Aim for making it a little puffy (one to two stamps worth). Tape the pocket closed. This sealed card pocket will be sent รขโฌลnakedรขโฌย (no envelope) through the mail. (See "P.S." below) Address the backside of the card (it may not be plain; that's ok), add appropriate postage, and mail it off to your partner to brighten their day. :) Enjoy! And if there's any questions please free free to contact me. P.S. Please make sure the sides of your pocket are securely fastened with packing tape - we don't want anything falling out in transit. Another option is to put your card pocket into a see-through plastic pocket or bag. |
