Number of swap partners:2
Description:

For this swap you will have 2 partners because that is part of the experiment.

You need some very high quality double sided paper. Think Graphi 45 or Tim Holtz.

You need enough paper to make 2 identical starter sets. So six pieces of paper that are 2.5 x 3.5 inches In one paper.

Plus you need a different double sided paper to make six more identical pieces that are 2.5 x 3.5 inches

Mail two starter sets to each partner. Your envelopes should have the same content, so your partners get the same papers.

Include 6 sticky address labels, hand made or store bought for each partner. 12 sticky address labels total. This part is really important.

Again because this is an experiment, some things might be different than a regular starter set.

  1. You are actually sending the double sided paper to your partners, cut into an atc size. No firm backing, Gasp! This paper is pretty firm overall. if you are using the high quality stuff. You are not adding your mailing info to the back, just yet. Just the papers.

  2. When you get your 2 starter sets, from your sender, YOU DECIDE which side to use. Add at least two things to your chosen side of the paper.

  3. Please attach the sent sticky address label of your sender, to the top back, and your sticky address label under that one. Don't add a firm backing, as part the experiment is to see the unchosen paper.

  4. Since you are sending to 2 partners it will be part of the experiment to see if both partners choose the same side of the paper to create on.

  5. As is all Jams you need to send the cards to a third player, it can be someone not in the swap, who is listed on the Forums address list. Please do not send to someone not in this group.

  6. You may free to send any extra strips of the double sided paper. You know how there is the odd strip when you are cutting atcs from a 12x12. This is not required, but I think I will add the extra pieces. This would allow the player 2 to accent the card with the opposite side. Can you even picture this?

So we are making 12 ATC backgrounds in the end? Sending 6 cards to each partner with address labels? am I right? using 2 different papers

Yes, that is correct. You got it!

The goal is to send to each partner similar starter sets, and see what you get back.

Two pieces of 12x12 patterned paper is enough. You make 2 sets from one paper and 2 sets from the other. (you will have leftovers)

I had a hard time narrowing down which 2 to use. I have a whole pad of Tim Holtz 12x12 double sided papers. I also have some sunflower double sided paper.
