Description:

On cardstock or glossy ATC you will tear strips of painters tape or masking tape & lay them randomly on the ATC. If you are using masking tape, you will need to lay the sticky side on your pants or shirt to remove some of the sticky. Otherwise, it may ruin your ATC piece.

Now sponge some color onto your ATC. My sample is with Rust, Tangerine Tango & More Mustard. All of these were from Stampin Up. (no I do not work for them) Pull the tape off your ATC & stamp or collage as usual.

This technique makes a pretty cool background. I usually have good luck using glossy cardstock.

Be sure to add a sturdy backing to your ATC.
