Note!

on the envelope you are reusing to send this swap, it is strongly advised you cover any barcodes printed on with washi or a marker or something. I'm not 100% sure how much of a difference that makes, but I know those are used for scanning and sorting so it's probably better to squiggle them out.

A spiritual successor to the mail art atc swaps, in this series we will be going through and making different commonly traded paper goods out of the art and junk that passes through our mailboxes.

For this series you can use any mail you have received as fodder. Decorated envelopes, security envelopes, bits of postcards, fliers, extras enclosed in swaps, packaging, postage due notices, any mail.

You may augment your remail items with any art supplies you want, just make sure the reused bits are the stars of the show.

Using materials from your mail pile (as outlined above) create one bookmark for your partner. Make sure that your bookmark is not in any way tacky. (packing tape as a laminate might be a good idea for this swap)

Send your bookmark in a reused envelope making sure to cover any addresses. The envelope you reused does not have to be arted up and you don't have to art it up, just adding more postage is fun enough for this swap. (:

This is sender's choice!

Future rounds of this swap will definitely include:
postcards, notecards with envelopes, altered tags, quote cards, handmade stickers, and I'm open to other suggestions!

@Bohochick thanks! The ATC swaps were always a blast to do, I'm excited to be expanding it in the new year :D
