Description: | |
I often find myself playing around with scraps on my table, building things like houses, faces, flowers and what-not. ItΓ’β¬β’s fun to see images emerge from what was just a pile of off-cuts. With that in mind, use paper shapes (organic, hand-cut, punches and/or scraps) to build yourself a HOUSE. Clipped out window and door images are strictly off-limits. Your house will need to have distinctive house parts (window, door, roof, etc.) but you can get as creative with shapes and sizes as you choose. Build your house on an interesting background 5Γ’β¬Βx7Γ’β¬Β in size. You can use patterned scrapbook paper, painted paper, a collage. It will be mailed in an envelope to your partner, so additional dimensional elements, finishing touches and embellishments are welcome. The swap image is a house I made as an example. You can view it larger [here]. If thereΓ’β¬β’s enough interest we can continue down the list and build other subjects (flowers, faces, etc.) in future swaps. |
