Description:

We are not co-opting the Jewish Religion or practices. The mezuzah originated in the middle ages and was used by Jews and Gentiles alike for protection of their homes against negative energies.

Jews have strict rules for making their amulets that include certain astro signs, days, hours and angelic influences. In our times, we just get it done when we are able to work on it. Originally, there was a copy of a sacred writing enclosed. If you google the word, most likely you will find those for the Jewish faith. Try Pagan Amulet for Doors for more options.

The amulet is meant to be hung on the door frame of your home so you can touch it going out and coming in, sending a blessing or receiving its energy (depends upon the intention you set). It should be strong enough to handle being touched often.

I have seen them made from those wide Popsicle sticks, clay, braided yarns/thin ropes, to a casing made of Legos. This is sender's choice so they can be created from wood, metal, beads, molding clays, stones, herbs, or fabric to found objects. Additionally, it can be a purchased-item. The creatrix can carve, write or otherwise inscribe words or protection symbols.

Summary: 1 Partner; 1 small Threshold Protection Amulet (sender's choice) ready to hang in the door frame of your partner's home; send on time; rate when received.

Please include the group name, the swap name and your ID. In your note, let your partner know the energy you put into it.
