I ran this swap ages ago, in 2007 when postage was a lot cheaper - I wonder if this will fly now ... Here goes: This swap will be to exchange Four different Magazines that you happen to have laying around. The magazines must be in new, or, gently-used, condition. No greasy fingerprints, giant coffee stains, torn pages, etc. The fun of this swap is, that, you may send ANY magazine - EXCEPT - no porn/sexually suggestive material - ie: Playboy, etc. But, ANYTHING else goes. This means you might receive a magazine that you already subscribe to, Or, have no interest in... or, thought you had no interest in. Perhaps its a sports or a trade mag, or a craft magazine that you don't have interest in - or a lady's magazine that bores you to death ... But, on the bright side, you might be able to use the pictures or text as part of a craft of yours. Or, discover you are interested in the magazine's subject, after all. This is Pure pot-luck. You really don't know what you're going to get. It could be a current magazine, or, one that's been laying around for awhile. Just as long as it's in decent shape. One more thought - The values of the magazines might not all be the same.. so, keep this in mind. Some magazines hover around a dollar, others, ten or more. It's up to you what to send. So don't be unhappy if you send expensive magazines and get less expensive ones, in return. Remember, this is Pure Grab Bag. I mention four magazines, because I think four can be fit in a flat-rate envelope comfortably, without straining to seal it. If you want to add more magazines - Certainly, that's great. Extras can be different magazines, or, the same title as the original four, but, of a different month. If you can send less expensively than a flat-rate envelope -- Yes, do it. So! ~ Four assorted magazines sent to One Partner. |
