Mini zines are nice and sweet, but every once in a while it is fun to go BIG. Well, slightly bigger. An excessively long tutorial for a MAMMOTH minizine has been created for your viewing enjoyment ... see the link below. Original directions were deemed a little hard to follow.

This is just a friendly little zine swap, your choice of theme and media used, with one little tiny challenge: the word "mammoth" must be used somewhere in it. Mammoth sized vegetables, a mammoth event in your life, wooly mammoths ... it's up to you.

Make one copies of your mammoth zine, send one mammoth zine copy to one partner, fold your arms and congratulate yourself on a job well done!

I will mastodon any unsent swaps, but let's keep our wool clean, OK :) ?

And more on potential mammoth cloning .... they are cute but, golly, has anyone watched Jurassic Park?! The raptors could only be next ...

Can you make a video to show how to fold it? I do not Grok "fold 1 over the back side of 4". Things go downhill from there.

Other than trying to resurrect the postgarden blog, any other ideas of good ways to post tutorials? I'd have to use my phone to do a video, and I am not sure that would work well, unless I figure out the webcam in the computer, but I am willing to do one with photos or slides ...

SO, having done a couple mammoth zines this afternoon, think of it as a folding - outward meander zine. As you are folding it, it turns inward, as you are unfolding it, it opens in a slightly unexpected way.

I made a mistake and assigned partners before I noticed that I had 1 partner listed rather than the original three -- sorry, folks! Maybe we need to have another mammoth zine swap .. or feel free to offer extra zines up in the ZMACS tag or other forum for spare zine swapping :)
