Description:

Someone suggested we do envelopes. Sounds like a fun idea, doesn't it? So....
For this swap, you will color a page, then make it into an envelope. Please make it heavier than regular printer paper. Finding a picture and copying it onto cardstock would be the best way to do this. There are lots of tutorials online about how to make envelopes.
Once you have your envelope made, what do you put into it? A coloring page, of course! :-)
Then, all you have to do is address it, stick a stamp on it and mail it off to your partner.
It's fun to get something in the mail that isn't just a plain old envelope!

Just to recap:
Make one envelope out of a coloring page (cardstock, or something similar), put a coloring page inside for your partner to color, and mail that bad boy off.

Now, for the not-so-pretty:
Ratings must be high enough for you to be in this group, so I'm not going to put a rating requirement on this. You will have a whole month to get it done. It's sender's choice, so you can get started on it right away, though. Please send on or before the due date, especially if you are overseas. The mail has been getting really slow lately. Yes, this is international, but don't let that stop you from joining. It's only $1.20 to send an envelope overseas.

Are you saying it is alright to fold the coloring page we are sending?

PrairieKittin 06/26/2016 #

Yes, it's okay to fold the coloring page. The main focus is on the envelope.

Note: I have changed the sign-up date to July 8th. That way, our Canadian friends will have more information about the impending postal strike before they sign up.

I saw a swap similar to this in the public forums. I thought it was a neat idea. I thought a about hosting one here, but just couldn't it at this time. I will be joining this one.
