Description:

Have you ever seen a swap title in newest swaps or top swaps that got you excited?

Apparently a good handful saw the title of the US version of this swap and got excited, only to be crushed it wasn't international.

Maybe the title was cut off causing it to read “For the love of Butt” and you were sorely disappointed it was not a butt themed swap but rather a butterfly themed swap. Or there was an acronym in the title, an ESP swap?! Yes please! I would love to draw a picture guessing what my partner looked like or what they had for breakfast and oh… that’s not what the swap is for at all.

Maybe you read the title wrong, or too fast or just thought something else entirely. And while the swap was still a perfectly fine swap (I’m sure) it wasn’t the swap you wished it were.

If you can relate, this is your swap. For real.

Watch the swap list (or think of a swap you were misled by) and fulfill the requirements for the swap you wanted it to be.
Misread “Pet Lover’s Pen Pal” as “Pert Lover’s Pen Pal” and was saddened to find this was not a swap to express your love of cheap shampoo? Write that Pert loving letter.
Sad that the recent “Oh my god Becky look at her Art” swap was not a Sir Mix A Lot tribute swap? Make that Sir Mix A Lot ATC!
Simply crushed that “Brighten my week Not…” turned out to read “Brighten my week notecard” instead of a sarcastic swap (or one somehow involving Wayne’s World)? I dunno, man, you do you.

Along with filling your bizarre swap requirements, make sure to add a note to your partner saying what the swap actually was and what you misread/misunderstood the swap to be.

You can make this odd or surreal, or simply horribly niche.

RULES

Do NOT send low effort swaps, electronic swaps or, on the other end of the spectrum a pricey/way time consuming package.
To keep this relatively even please pick a swap that falls somewhere in the higher end type 2 swaps (letters, find certain items, etc) to the low end type 3 swaps (ATC’s, Zines, pocket letters etc)

THIS IS A TYPE 3 SWAP because I expect the vast majority of your projects would fall into that arena.

REGARDING POSTCARDS: I will not outright ban postcards, you may have a really clever idea. But your postcard needs to have effort put in it. So, handmade or if it is store bought you better be composing your own personal sonnet on the back or something similar. Also, you have to include the note to your partner. Maybe you will send an explanation postcard along with the clever postcard, that would be perfectly fine.

SENDER’S CHOICE but keep it PG-13 (unless you double check with your partner after they are assigned.) If the risk of getting something PG-13 is too great, don’t join.

Too Long; Didn’t Read

No summaries for you, weaklings. Read the description or face my wrath.

Hey

This is international. Due to high demand. Consult google before mailing anything weird to avoid issues with customs. Don't go too crazy. And be kind and wait to rate. International mail can take a little longer.
