Here's your chance at a Type 3 CRAFT swap that shouldn't take up too much time nor cost much money!
Please read the description and swap requirements carefully.
Only sign up if you will follow through with the creation, mailing on time, and prompt rating of this swap.
.
Swap Description
- you will create one coffee sleeve booklet out of a coffee cup cardboard sleeve (some links for examples are provided below) and send to one partner
- the booklet must have a decorated or embellished cover. Please, no sticker slapping - stickers may be used in a tasteful way (do NOT use teacher, reward, extra puffy stickers) but must be paired with other decorating techniques
- the booklet must include at least 4 pieces of paper (that equals 1 strip folded) but you may include more
- the inside booklet must be attached to the sleeve spine, either with staples, thread, or other binding techniques
- inside the booklet you will write a letter to your partner which must include:
- introducing yourself, sharing the crafts and hobbies you like to do, and anything else which comes to mind you'd like to share
- why you decided to join Swap-Bot, or if you've been here awhile, why you enjoy Swap-Bot
- pages inside must also be embellished in some manner - washi, rubber stamps, scrapbook paper, ephemera, tasteful stickers, watercolours, etc. You must be able to clearly read the letter, though.
- be sure to include the date, the name of the swap, and your username
- your envelope/packing should also include some decoration - not just a plain white or manilla envelope, please
Easy!
.
Swap Requirements
- You must have logged in to S-B at least one day prior to partners being assigned.
- This is an INTERNATIONAL SWAP, so please be mindful that your swap may cost more than 1 or 2 stamps to make it to its destination.
Include the correct postage on your swap - this likely entails taking it to the post office.
- Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile yet I reserve the right to remove anyone.
- This is senders choice but a look at your partners profile is always good so you do not send things your partner dislikes.
- As long as the swap you receive meets the requirements listed above in the description, rate a 5 -- do not rate down if you don’t like what you receive.
- Take the time to create something you would be happy to receive!
- Enjoy the process and have fun!
.
Examples:
Please bear in mind, these are mostly "albums" - to showcase photos, or for scrapbooking. Yours will be a "booklet" in which to write a letter. I can only find examples of these albums to show you the basics of what the coffee sleeve would sort of turn into/ look like for this swap. Imagine the sleeve becoming the cover of a book and the paper you include inside becomes the pages of the book.
