Description:

Every year I take down my old calendar and try to decide to keep it somewhere or toss it. This year, I sat and made envelopes with my favorite images from several old calendars and really love the way they turned out. So here is my challenge to you, find your old calendars, pic out some images, make one ATC (glue it on a good card backing and decorate with any additional techniques you wish) with a part of an image and use another image from the same calendar to make an envelope to send that ATC to your partner. Please write a small note about your choice and make sure to mark your ATC with the info for the swap and put it in a sleeve.

Make some other envelopes while you are at it!

Please rate your partner based on if you receive the above described items. It is your partner's choice of images.

I've made envelopes out of my old calendars for years. Swap partners often comment on the colorful mail.

New postal worker even commented on them. I told him I use old calendars and magazine covers/pages too. He was impressed.

My most recent discovery....I received a booklet for a cruise line. These pages are a little heavier than magazine and have beautiful pictures too.

Watching.....hopefully I'll have time to get an ATC made.

Oh...a question....do we mail the ATC in the envelope or send it to our partner to use themselves?

Is the envelope to be addressed and mailed to the partner, or sent to the partner for their use later?

Mailed and addressed to the partner, used to send the ATC in. If you want to send a 2nd envelope for future use, that is up to you. :) Just have fun with it.
