Description:

This is my first time hosting a swap! Even if it's a private one it is still exciting :)

Anyways, here we go!

For this swap you will do 2 things:

1) Pick a book and finish it within the time frame of the swap. It can be a new book, or a reread but if you are rereading a book, please read the whole thing :)

2) Write a letter discussing the book you finished reading. I will provide some questions below for inspiration but it is not necessary to answer all or any of the them. They are to give you something to write about incase inspiration is needed to write a nice letter.

Some inspiration questons:

  • Where you interested in the book from the start or did it take a while to "get into"?

  • Did you enjoy the book?

  • Discribe the main character/s. Did you think their actions made sense? What kind of personality did they have? How has their past shaped their personality or actions in the book? Do they change by the end of the book? If so, how?

  • Did you relate to any of the characters?

  • What genre is the book?

  • Is this a book you would usually pick or was it out of your comfort zone?

  • Would you recommend this book?

  • Was it an easy read or more intense/dramatic/thoughtful?

  • Has the book changed your perspective in any way?

  • Did you learn any thing new?

  • How many pages was it?

  • Did you find yourself making time to read it or did you have to push yourself to get through it?

  • Why did you pick this book to read?

  • What does the cover look like?

  • Where did you get the book? from a friend, a book store, the library? was is an ebook? audio book?

  • Is it a stand alone novel or from a series?

  • Have you read from the author previously?

I may have gone a little overboard with the questions but I like having options! Have fun and happy reading!
