Description: | |
The family is used to it -- this time of year, I go on a small Santa Diversity campaign in my family and community. I have my own reasons, of course, and so do you, if you are interested in this swap -- but it all boils down to this: if Santa represents love and giving and humanity, then Santa needs to represent all humans. In this swap, we will create one hanging ATC (artist trading card with a ribbon or string threaded through one end making it into a hanging ornament) that represents a Santa of Indigenous/ First Peoples/ Native/ Aboriginal/ Islander heritage for one partner. Any medium -- paper, cloth, felt, perler beads, crochet, etc. I do recommend using a finish medium with paper if that works with the project at hand. I will screen swappers, please have excellent ratings and have completed 5 mail swaps or contact me for a 1:1 swap. I will angel all swaps. Merry Christmas! Image is from a Pinterest Web Board called NIVA Christmas Party -- I believe that it may be located in Vancouver, WA/ Salish affiliated? |
