PLEASE READ ENTIRE SWAP DESCRIPTION

This is a USA swap only. Feel free to host your own international one.

ALSO - there are a couple of swappers that sometimes join my swap that are from Canada, but have a USA address too....PLEASE CHECK YOUR PARTNERS PROFILE

Your child will have 1 partner and send one wrapped gift. A gift must cost minimum $1, not including postage. It can be store-bought or handmade. Your gift must be wrapped. Sender's choice, but age and gender appropriate. Do not send any food. Your partner's child may wait until December to open the gift. NOTE for the months of November and December food is allowed.

REQUIREMENT add a tag with your child's name and YOUR swap-bot ID/month in case your partner's child keeps it wrapped until December and wants to contact you then.

NEW RULE, SIGH You must have something on your profile about your child(ren). If you DO NOT then you will be removed from the swap. (Someone tried to join and she admitted that she was just trying to get stuff for herself...really!?! In who's world is that OK?!?) And almost every month I have someone message me with "my partner has nothing on their profile about their kids and is not answering my messages."

No trash, no junk, no dirty/damaged items. You must send only new at least $1-valued wrapped item. Please try and send a gift that will actually fit into a stocking.

As long as it meets the swap requirements then please rate a 5, even if it's something you can't use.

Your child can open their gift once they've received it or can pop the wrapped gift in their Christmas Stocking till December. It's up to you! But please do rate your partner once you've received it, even if you are going to keep it wrapped till Christmas.

Newbies welcomed, with a well filled out profile (I DO CHECK AND WILL BAN). No recent/unexplained low ratings and you must check into swap-bot within 3 days of partners being assigned. PLEASE check out my profile page and read the "About Swaps I Host" section for an in-depth explaination of my swap rules.

Also ~ I live in "Boonyville" Michigan and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. I have been told that swap hosts have 7 days after the sign up date to assign partners. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date.

If you know of a bad swapper signed up for this swap, I appreciate being informed, but please DO NOT post to the comment section! Send me a PM and I will deal with it that way.

I cannot angel this swap at this time. But then who would be low enough to flake on a child?

I also have an adult version of this swap

Hi there I just signed up for your swap. I'm a bit confused though. Is it acceptable to make a home made gift? At the beginning of your post it says store bought or home made is ok but toward the bottom it says store bought gifts only. Either way it's ok with us but I wanted to make sure. Also I will add info about my daughter on my profile this afternoon. Thanks so much, we are excited.

@Carriesue2 - No, it says it must be new, but not necessarily store bought. Don't dig into you child's toy box/bookshelf for a gift or buy from a thrift store or garage sale UNLESS it is new and unused.

What if you have 2 children? How will the partner know which child to send it for?

institches 11/14/2015 #

@thebeholder - you will have to contact your partner and tlell them which child or the easiest way is to add it to your profile

Jbcangel 11/24/2015 #

Are there age guidelines I have a 2 yo but I age level of 3+ is that to young to participate?

institches 11/25/2015 #

@Jbcangel - all ages are included in this swap. My 5 year old grandson has sent to a 14 year old and a 2 year old this year, with all ages inbetween.

Just make sure you have a section of good ideas on your profile.
