Description:

Unless you've been hibernating, you know of the Pocket Letter craze that's been sweeping Swap-bot. Have you tried doing any? If you haven't, it is pretty easy. You'll need a binder page that consists of 9 pockets to hold trading cards. You'll also need a few decorative papers and other embellishments. Do a search of Swap-bot, Pinterest, or the general Internet for pictures and more detailed instructions.

I thought I'd try a swap focused on Writers. My swap is regional for the USA only, to pinch pennies. If anyone else would like to host something the same or similar, you're welcome to put it up.

Create one page for one partner. Here are the guidelines for your page.

  • 1 pocket: a note about yourself, the name of the swap and your swap name.

  • 3 pockets containing prompts, such as a picture or object. i.e., a piece of lace with a note that says it came from a ball gown. But not just a note or written prompt. Be creative.

  • 3 pockets containing inspiration: quotes, poems, stories, encouragement, more pictures if you choose. Be creative.

  • remaining 2 pockets are your choice.

Make it nice looking, but it does not have to be heavily crafty if that's not your thing.

Thanks to @junemoon for the idea of picture prompts which came together with the pocket letter craze for the idea of this swap. I hope you'll enjoy it.

The usual rules: Only swappers with good ratings (or good explanations) allowed. Newbies with well-filled out profile are welcome. Must have at least 4 signed up by the deadline to continue the swap. Don't sign up unless you're sure you can commit, and don't forget to rate promptly.

Is there a theme we need to use to line the. Pocket? Cause I dont understand if your instructions r for the lining or the filling

The instructions concern the fillings. Decorate/line any way you choose!
