I recently participated in a couple of "Merit Badge" swaps with the "Beginner's Cross Stitch" group and they were so fun. I'd like to have more practice making these. I can't get enough of them. For this swap, we will look at our partner's profile and make them 2 DIFFERENT fabric patches they will LOVE. These patches can be inchie size (1 x 1 inch) up to ATC size (2.5 x 3.5 inches). They can be any shape. You can use any technique as long as it is hand washable. You should be able use these patches to embellish a jacket or purse. You can use any textile techniques you want as long as its fabric based.The edges of the patches should be blanket stitched or finished in some way. The back does not need to be decorated but there should be a second layer of fabric to cover any stitchwork done on the front piece. Inspirational Images:
