Description:

This swap is pretty basic... Buy at least $5 worth of yummy vegan treats and send them to your partner. I have my favorites and I'm sure others do, too, so let's share!

The snacks can be sweet or savory or both...the only stipulation is it should be suitable for vegans to eat (that includes no honey and no "bone-char sugar" - I'm adding extra time to the swap so that you can do some research on any questionable products) AND snack items should be purchased, not homemade (you're welcome to include recipes for homemade treats!). Please let me know if you need any other info to complete this swap and I'll be happy to help you out.

If you have any food allergies please list them in the comments section before the last day of signup (and be sure to check the comments after partners have been assigned!).

This swap is for U.S. and Canadian residents only. Particpants should be familar with what constitutes vegan snacks.

Aww it's a shame this is only open to people in the US! I would have loved to take part

This is great! I'm already in my "maximum allowed number of swaps" or I'd sign up for this in a heartbeat. Maybe I can after one of my others is over!

yum! sounds good!

elouises13 - It's just so hard because of food restrictions in so many countries! I've started a new vegan group: The Amalgamated Vegan Society That might be a good way to get in touch with others in your neck of the woods. Also, there'll be other vegan swaps that don't involve food that'll be open to everyone the world over! I'll PM you and see if you are interested in doing a private swap with me so you can participate in this swap.

I thinks this is great, it is on my watchlist. I think one should also be careful on what they send because somethings might not make it through the mail, such as vegan chocolate and candies...they could melt.

Endiahna, good point! Everyone should make sure and choose snacks they are sure will arrive safely (remember to package well). I live in So Cal where it's been 104 degrees the past few days and recently received some chocolate squares from halfway across the country and they arrived perfectly intact. I would think most things in boxes should be safe if they've got packaging around them and they're not left sitting in direct sunlight, but do try and be mindful about what you're sending!.

I am allergic to Canola oil and hot peppers-otherwise my favs include jerkys and other savory treats....or good chcolate.

Oh, how exciting! This'll be one of my first swaps with Swap-Bot and really, nothing could be more fun than getting to put together a little vegan snack food care package for someone. (Though receiving one might be a close second.) :)

For the record, I don't have any food allergies but I'm pretty averse to pickled foods. A jar of olives or pickled something or other would be passed along to my husband. Otherwise, I'm open! :)
