Do your best work, and meet new friends. Open to newbies, not flakers. If you're not sure what Pocket Letter Pals are, here is a link to a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxHLkm0lZi0

There is a new group called 'Pocket Letter Swaps' that you might be interested in. Thank you for hosting this swap!

Hey Saba, can you send me an invite? I can't find it.

question -do the pockets need to be filled with ATCs? you have it marked as an ATC swap Thanks bunches! Gabi

grandmaroro 03/20/2015 #

Hi Gabi, Copy and paste the link to see how the original pocket letter was done. I would like to do a swap like Janette Lane, the originator, describes.

BetsyPreston 03/21/2015 #

I looove your swap picture. It's so fun how your pockets all coordinate into a larger picture.

starmccoy 03/22/2015 #

Hi Gabi. It would be ATC size, but not necessarily ATC's. Nice paper. Washi tape. Buttons. Paper clips. All these are suggestions, except a note, that is required. Hope this helps

grandmaroro 03/22/2015 #

My apologies. Please excuse the above post.

starmccoy 03/23/2015 #

No grandmaoro You are right, just trying to clarify. No worries

Do we get to takeout stuff from the pockets, such as stickers, bag of embellishments, ect. Or do we keep it like it is and create a folder for the pocket letter swap? 🐳

I have found that a along with a note, a ATC sized card with your info (name, address, maybe a small fact about you) is an awesome way to help on the receivers end to keep a file of pen pals.....I keep the ATC sized cards in blank 9 pocket pages for reference, like an address book of sorts. Does that make since? If my pal doesn't include one, I just make one. It has been a fun way to keep my pen pals organized. I even saw one that had the persons photo on it...anyway, just wanted to share that idea :)

There is also a group called 9 Little Pockets. There are themed swaps of fun stuff in the 9 pocket format but you don't end up with a penpal if you don't want one. My penpal list is getting rather large and this works well for me.

I love my Pocket Letter from Marie. The colours are so vibrant and I love the goodies inside. I even got a delicious tea baggie. Thank you so much Marie. :)
