This is a USA swap only. Feel free to host your own international one. ALSO - there are a couple of swappers that sometimes join my swap that are from Canada, but have a USA address too. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PARTNERS PROFILE This is a newbie friendly swap. It should be extremely easy to do as long as you follow the guidelines below. Experienced swappers are also welcome. Get a cute tote like the one in the pic. (Handmade or store bought) NO PLASTIC OR PAPER BAGS. Choose at least three different things from the list below, put in the tote and send to your partner's child before the deadline. Items: Coloring book and a small box of crayons - Easter if possible. Spring will be good too. 1 sheet of stickers - none smaller than a US penny a small Easter puzzle an age appropriate book - gently used is fine a small wrapped Easter treat - ie: fruit snacks, small pkg cookies, small chocolate bunny, etc. A handmade Easter item a gender appropriate toy a small Easter craft kit they can do alone or with adult help glue sticks/bottle of kids glue colored pencils markers drawing pad a roll of tape bottle of bubbles a package of sidewalk chalk play food a package of tattoo's a paint set This is all I can think of right now....if you have any suggestions add them to the comment section below and I'll add them to the "official" list. What to do: Choose at least three different things that are on the list and send to your partner's child by the deadline. They must be different - example: DO NOT send 3 puzzles. This does not count. And no, a handmade puzzle DOES NOT count as 2 items. This is not a profile based swap but it DOES have to be gender related. Check your partner's profile as a lot of swap-botters have their kids likes listed there. You may have to contact your partner to find out the age of their child and name. (Addressing the package to the child would be great...my grandson loves to get mail that is just for him.) Newbies to swap-bot are welcomed, with a well filled out profile (I DO CHECK AND WILL BAN). No recent/unexplained low ratings. PLEASE check out my profile page and read the "About Swaps I Host" section for an in-depth explaination of my swap rules. Also ~ I live in "Boonyville", Michigan and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date. Also I will NOT be able to angel this swap....but who would be low enough to flake on a child? NOTE- this can become a heavy swap when adding some of the items. I've found mailing in a flat rate padded envelope is the least expensive way to send. They cost $6.10 to mail. You can get them at your PO or order them for free from usps.com |
