Description:

Create one ATC with a henna theme for your partner.

Cards must be at least 80% hand drawn or painted.

Artist trading cards are small pieces of artwork.

There are only 3 rules:

The size must be 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches. They must be sturdy- no thinner than an index card. They must be swapped, never sold.

You will be creating and sending one card to your partner.

Please do not put a sticker on an index card and mail it to your partner. (We call this sticker slapping, it is not allowed.)

You are creating mini artwork so please put effort into your piece. Only send something you would like to recieve in return.

Please rate your returns promptly. Please remember hearts are given for returns that are were created and packed with love- not because they sent you a bunch of extras.

Joining requirements: Profiles will be checked for unexplained 1s and 3s. Newbees welcome with a filled out profile and at swap organizers discretion.

I am thinking of using real henna to dye some fabric and then mounting that onto the card. Ill have to find out if the person Im partnered with is sensitive to smells....

Natural henna should not have much of a scent. One swap is specifically hand drawn or painted- the other is for those who prefer collage.

Oh and no special pens.

When I mix henna I use clove oil in the mix. Helps keep it from cracking off. The powder doesn't have much of a small, no.

Clove oil is highly irritating for the skin. Sugar does a much better job of giving the henna stick power.
