Description:

This swap isn't low calorie, sorry ;) but it should be a lot of fun. To take part you'll need to buy, [and eat the contents of]a half size tube of Pringles. Because the things you're going to fill it with are quite small, I think the full size tube would work out too expensive! Having safely disposed of said Pringles, you'll need to wash out the container, and cover/decorate it to suit your partner. Here comes the good part: now you fill the tube with a good range of stitchy related treasure. You might like to think about floss, buttons, beads, small chart.......... You might even like to put in a small stitched piece - say a biscornu, or ornament?? Please think about the sort of thing you would like to receive, to make up a good treasure tube for your partner. This doesn't mean expensive things, just thoughtfull little odds and ends. It's fine to use stash for the treasure, as long as it is complete, and in good condition [i.e. not part used skeins of floss!!]

Edited to say that I've realised that half-sized tubes are not too easy to get hold of all throught the year. I've practised, and it's quite easy to cut the tube into two parts using a sharp kitchen knife, or craft knife. If you mark the tube round where you want to cut, and pierce it first, you an saw round whilst holding the tube in shape with your free hand. It's best to keep the lid on to do this to add stability. The plastic lid doesn't fit so well, but it does allow a bit of leeway for when you cover the tube! I hope this will be fun for everybody, Enjoy ;)
