Description:

Most of you are familiar with the mail art swaps where we've been creating an envelope or postcard following an alphabet theme. This swap is designed to help us fill in the gaps for any missing letters we may have due to receiving duplicates or just missing the swap.

For this swap, we will only have one partner so that we can make sure we get a missing letter and not more duplicates. :-) I will set up multiple swaps over time so we can complete our full alphabet set. You do not have to have participated in any of the prior swaps to participate in this one, just jump right in!

Listed below are our past themes. You will need to reference this list to find the letter your partner is missing and create a fabulous mail art piece for them. You need to incorporate at least one theme from the letter you are featuring in your mail art, but you are welcome to try them all if you are super creative! Use cut outs, collage, embellishments, quotes, anything you like in your mail art using any any mediums and any techniques you want. The mail art is senders choice, but please create something you are proud of!

  • A: Ancient, Atlas, Apple, Airmail
  • B: Bumblebee, Balloon, Britain, Bicycle
  • C: Circus, Cartoon, Candle, Century
  • D: Dragon, Driving, Dream, Dog
  • E: Elephant, Eating, Ear, England
  • F: Fantasy, Fox, Fun, Family
  • G: Green, Global, Games, Grasshopper
  • H: Hippo, Hat, Hot, Heart
  • I: Ink, Ice Cream, Italy, Island

Please include at least a note for your partner. Extra surprises are optional.

Any questions? Just ask! :-)

Mail art is a decorated envelope, handmade envelope, or postcard. If you are sending a postcard, please make sure it is on a sturdy piece of card, cardboard, or card stock; it may travel internationally so make sure it can withstand the journey. :) If you are making or decorating an envelope make sure it is sent "naked" e.g, stamped and addressed. Please do not send your mail art inside another envelope!

Please list below the one letter you would like your partner to use for your mail art item.

I haven't got letters D, E or F. It's up to my swap partner to choose one of them. If it's ok with my swap partner, I would prefer a postcard. But if that's too much to ask for, then a mail art envelope is ok too. :) Thank you!
