Here's a quick and easy project for your ofrenda--or maybe you'd like to make a piece of wearable art!

Flowers, especially marigolds(cempazuchitl) are important Day of the Dead symbols. The scent of the marigold is said to draw the deceased back to their loved ones.

FUN STUFF: Create 2 Dia de los Muertos flowers. You can use artificial flowers, paper flowers, etc. The style and color are up to the designer. You could use a pin-back or hair clip for wearable flowers, a magnet for the fridge, a ribbon hanger, etc. This is sender's choice to one partner.
