Description:

If you are anything like me, you spend a lot of time at work, and isnÒ€ℒt it nice to be surrounded by fun, pretty office type goodies?

Use whatever size baggie is appropriate (at least sandwich size) and fill it full of all those essentials that make a day at the office bearable!

Think things like cute post-its, fun paperclips, a beautiful pen, a nice container for clips, notepads, something cute to carry your lunch in, even a cute little ornament to have on your desk! Send at least 5 items, and not all the same (for example do not just send 5 packs of post-its) The rule here is that nothing should be plain Γ’β‚¬β€œ it should have a design, be pretty etc. Γ’β‚¬β€œ So an example is a nice patterned pad of post-its instead of the boring square yellow ones. A pretty pen instead of a boring plain Bic.

Rough idea on spend would be £5/$7.

As this is a group swap, I am not going to set a rating, but I reserve the right to remove any participant that I feel may be problematic. If you have any current 3 or 1 ratings on your profile that are unaddressed, you will be removed. I do a final check just before assigning partners, and if you have any late swaps on your dash at that point you will also be removed.

There have been a few queries recently as to what is acceptable as a Baggie swap Γ’β‚¬β€œ there is no simple answer to this question. As long as the swap guidelines are met, then it is acceptable, but please remember you are trying to please your partner, and this is a type 3 package swap Γ’β‚¬β€œ if what you are sending is a small, flat envie, then it is probably not enough!

Please comment below, or PM me if you have any questions.

I would like to ask, how flat is too flat? I always pack my swaps that they go flatter than 3cm thick due to postage cost limits, although I send other than paper items too. I don't think expensive postage costs are a sign of a good swap. Is an inch (~ 2.5cm) too flat?

And I don't mean letter size envelopes (C6), but bigger, like C5 or so.

Hi, I would say that if it is close to the 3cm then it should be ok. There have been a few instances recently when package swaps have been sent that just include a couple of postcards, and a few sheets of scrapbooking paper. Totally understand that postage costs can be expensive, and I agree that high postage charges are not an indication of a good swap, but these are package swaps, and the contents should reflect this. Hope this answers your question.

Thank you! :)

In Canada we have that "flat "rule too. I have manage to pack some wonderful swaps into a large envie and stay under the limit. Many of the articles mentioned above would fit with no problem.
