This will be a fun swap :)

I recently have a big love for unusual shaped or sized postcards and would like to swap now !!

For this swap you will have 1 Partner and send 1 naked, stamped and written postcard. The card can be round, oversized, odd shaped anything you can think of just not the usual postcard size. Only storebought cards in a good condition, no Zazzle cards. Please write a quote, a short list of your current favorite songs, ... on the card. Just not only "happy swapping", this is so boring. ;) Don't forget to write your name and the swap name on the card.

Newbies are allowed but please have a well filled out profile. I will check profiles and ban if I feel I have to. Sending a postcard is really easy so do not flake !! If you recieve your card, rate a 5. it is senders choice.

This is my first swap so I hope everything will work well and I am grateful for every tip. Have fun all

I was wondering also (BONJOUR MS PUSSY CAT!). I do these art doll/PC (hot messes) that I like to launch out into the universe everyonce in a while and was wondering if this is an appropriate swap. Regardless, I am grateful for people like you who host swaps...for your creativity and willingness to spend the time it takes. Thanks! You are what makes swap bot happen!

ahhh....nope! Not an appropriate swap for my artsy fartsy "shims". Oh well..... I hope your swap is a smashing success, Bookfreak! Keep on hosting, dear! Peace!

Now I am really curious about the art doll postcard :D

You know those cardboard shapes you get in the kids' craft aisle? Around Christmas, they sell Gingerbread Man shapes. I bought a lot of them. I do a mixed media collage on both sides with acrylics, gesso, images, stencils, random text, whatever I can get my hands on. I adhere a man's face on one side, female on the other. I then punch holes in the head and tie on pieces of ribbon or other fibers as well as colored wire and grungy charms dangling down. On one side I address it, then use 2 globe stamps and a 2 cent necklace stamp to make it look anatomically correct. Definitely not an item someone would want in thier storebought postcard collection....it would stick out like a sore thumb! :)

Thanks for hosting this swap, Sabrina! I've had monstrous postcards for a long time that I wasn't sure what I was going to do with ...... I still have more (wink, wink :)))))
