Description: | |
For this swap, you will put your imagination to work but you won’t need to create an entire story. You’re going to write a prompt for 1 partner. A writing prompt is a sentence or idea or situation which is meant to give a poke to a writer’s creativity. You’ll have one partner and you’ll send them a postcard with your writing prompt on it. THE TWIST: your prompt must somehow embody “filterâ€. Whatever that means to you. You can use the word in your prompt or just create a prompt that is relatable in some way. Include the name of the swap, your swap name, and the prompt on your card. When you get your prompt in the mail, it would be cool if you let the group know if it sparked some writing in you, but that’s not a requirement. The only requirement to fulfill the swap is create a prompt and mail it to your partner on a postcard. I chose postcard as the means of delivery because I thought it would be a hoot to have these apparently nonsensical messages shuffling through the postal systems. |
