One of my favorite artists is the wonderfully creative Teesha Moore
SoΓ’β¬Β¦with a couple a free hours at work, I created a Zetti-Style ATC (that's it above).
I will probably not swap this as I'll use my prisma color pencils and better inks @ home, so don't be put-off by my little Dalek above!
HereΓ’β¬β’s your opportunity to combine the zaniness of Zettiology with the awesome goodness of Doctor Who and come up with some colorful, creative and whimsical ATCs for this swap!
What does Zetti-style Doctor Who look like?
Zettiology is an art form attributed to Teesha Moore combining mixed media and collage to create strangely inspiring art. Zetti are people, animals, parts, bits, hats, wings, colors, swirls, flourishes, lyrical writing, black & white stripes, vibrant colors, offbeat characters and combinations of whatever tickles your fancy.
In other words, it's perfect for the Whovian universe!
Google Zetti-style art, or flickr search for zettiology or better yet, check out Teesha Moore's pages for inspiration at http://teeshamoore.com/zetnew.html.
Combined with some Doctor Who goodness of your choosing, this should make for some awe inspiring ATCs. The Doctor in a mask? Weeping Angels in bee form? Daleks with striped eyestalks, party in the TARDIS? Let your imagination take you where it will, but make sure it says Doctor Who and ZETTI.
For this swap you'll make ONE ATC for each of TWO partners. That's 2 cards total so that we can receive and enjoy a wide range of artist's work, that's why two different partners.
You should be familiar with the process of making a sturdy, respectable ATC worthy of being shared with your favorite Doctor or partner.
There's an entire month from now until partners are assigned and another month after that to design and create your ATCs, so you can get started now and there should be no reason for lateness, as this is not a profile based theme. If you have a legitimate crisis, please contact your partner and myself.
